When I originally started this blog (?) it was at the urging of two college friends as we waited in line to have Sofia Coppola sign our books at Bookmarc. The initial request was for me to recommend movies for people who wanted to get more into film— easy enough! I realize though that that’s not exactly what I’ve been doing here so to take it back to basics, I’m going to send a simple list every once in a while of everything I’d watch across the basic streamers. My old roommate and dear friend, Mikayla, would laugh at me sitting on the couch clicking through the options mumbling “oh that’s a good one,” “I haven’t seen that in forever,” “ugh, a classic” and then not hitting play on any of them and turning the TV off. I might as well put that work to good use. If you’re having a hard time choosing what to watch on a rainy night, queuing up some downloads for a flight or just want to stack up your watchlist, look no further. I’ll probably change up the streamers depending on what actually has good content each time.
I will start by airing out Peacock for having the worst choices at all times. Every once in a while they have something great fresh from theaters but as far as an older catalogue goes, trash! This is primarily a platform to watch NBC sitcoms & Real Houswives. Had to get that off my chest.
